Story Time
When was Adam created?
How did the Lord create Eve?
Where did the Lord keep them?
The Lord God put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, and commanded them saying, "You may
freely eat of every tree in the garden, but of the tree which is in the midst of the garden you shall not eat,
for in the day that you eat of it you shall die."
The serpent came and said, "You will not die." The woman took of the fruit of the tree and ate and
she gave some to Adam and he ate. They heard the sound of the Lord walking in the garden. The Lord
God called to Adam, and said to him, "Where are you?" And Adam said, "I heard the sound of thee in the
garden and I was afraid because I was naked." And the Lord said, "Who told you that you are naked?
Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?" Adam said, "The woman whom you
gave me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate." Then the Lord said to Eve, "What is this that you have
done?" and Eve said, "The serpent beguiled me, and I ate." The Lord sent them out of the garden.
1. Where did the Lord put Adam and Eve?
2. Who beguiled Eve?
3. Are we to obey the words of Satan or are we to obey God?
The Lord God made for Adam and for Eve garments of skins, and clothed them. The Lord God
sent them forth from the garden ofEden, to the ground from which Adam was taken. In the sweat of your
face you shall eat bread. And at the east of the garden of Eden, the Lord placed the Cherubim, and a
flaming sword turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.
