Notes for Servants
-Jesus Christ is the true physician who heals our souls, bodies, and spirits. He used to travel
everywhere to do good and heal all that were oppressed by the devil. He himself said, "The spirit
of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.
-Let's pray faithfully to Him to give us all that we need. We have to pray earnestly and without
ceasing to receive what we ask for, believing that the Lord will give us everything we ask for and
more.

Story Time
Jesus went to a town in Galilee called Capernaum. There a Roman soldier came up to Him and
said “Sir,I have a servant at home who is very ill. He is a good man and I don’t want him to die. Please,
will you save him?”
“Take me to him,” Jesus replied.
But the soldier hesitated. “I don't want to waste your time, sir,” he said. “Just a word from you
here and now would do.” Jesus looked at him. The man went on “I have a company of a hundred men
under me, but I know the power of an order. Don't trouble to come all the way to my house, just say the
word, and my man will be cured.”
“Your faith in me is great,” said Jesus. “Most men want much more than just a word from me.
They would not believe that I can cure men without touching or seeing them first. Well, I can. Go home
now. Your servant is healed and will not die.”
Jesus turned to the people around him. “You see,” he said, “that man was a Gentile, a non-Jew,
and he believed in me. The people of my own faith have not shown such trust. The time is coming when
men from every country in the world will see the light of God and believe. But my own people here in
Israel will not believe; the light will not shine through their darkness.”
When the Centurion arrived home, he found his servant was healed at the same hour when Jesus
said his word.
