Story Time

The teacher reads Ananias and Saphira story from the Bible, which confirms that donation was by choice. The servant introduces by leading the children's attention on the basics which Christianity was built on love, sacrifices and organization... and he touches the way of collecting and distributing donations in the days of the disciples(Acts 2:44-45). The children conclude through the teacher's question that according to this :

1 - There was neither rich nor poor but everything was shared.

2 - All the Christians used to eat at home with joy and simple heart praising God.  3 - The rich people were not forced to donate but it was their choice.

4 - The apostles were supervising the financial situation and they distributed it among the people according to their needs.

5 - When the evangelic work increased on the apostles they appointed seven deacons reputable and full of the holy spirit to accomplish this duty and they were receiving their authority from the apostles (bishops).

6 - The apostles did not save the money although it was too much and this is proved by Peter telling the lame man silver and gold I do not have but what I do have I give you.

Then the servant asks:

1 - What are the qualities which are obvious in the first church?

2 - To what limit were the apostle caring about money?

3 - How could everyone find his needs?
