In the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, One God, Amen
Lesson No. ( 38 )
References:
2 Kings 5.
Notes for Servants
i We are often greedy and we want more money, we like to hold better passions and we oftenenvy those who live better than we do.
i Sometimes we are spiritually greedy and we seek to glorify ourselves and decorating them with artificial virtues to acquire the praise of others.
i Being in the fellowship of the children of God is not everything in our salvation... as we must test the work of God in our hearts. Gehazi, Elisha's servant who was a great man, became a leper because of his sins.

Story Time
There was a great leader named Naaman the Syrian. He was not one of the Israelites. He had an Israelite servant. Naaman was a leper. Leprosy is a dangerous skin disease. Naaman was sad in spite of his great victories. The king loved him and was sorry for him. His wife also was sorry for him. The servant asked his wife that he may go Elisha the prophet to pray for him. The wife believed her. When her husband came sadly home, his wife announced the good news. He rejoiced and said, "I'lltake a letter from the king so that I can meet Elisha."
Naaman went to see the king. (Describe the meeting) The letter was quickly written. He went back home and prepared himselfto set on a journey... presents... caravan... good wishes... They started the journey. He arrived at Jerusalem... He gave the letter to the king of Israel. (Describe the meeting) The king of Israel was afraid thinking there was a plot... Elisha heard the story. He sent for him... They took the man to him... He was angry... His servants convinced him that he should follow Elisha's advice. He dived seven times. He became pure... He rejoiced... He was thankful to Elisha and the king (Describe Naaman's feelings). He sent many gifts to Elisha... You received without paying, give without pay.
Naaman and the caravan were on their way back. He had gone only a short distance when Elisha's servant Gehazi was seen running after him... Naaman got down from his chariot to meet him... Gehazi said, "My master sent me to tell you that just now two members of the group of prophets arrived - Pray, give them a talent of silver two festal garments. (a lie - love for money - greed) Naaman rejoiced and gave him more. He went back to Elisha (a conversation with Elisha - Gahazi was a sinner - became a leper)... He had the disease and died a leper, and that was the end of love for money.
