Story Time
Jesus and His disciples spent some time at the shore of the lake and when they returned to Capernaum they found a great multitude waiting for Jesus. He had no time to rest. He sat on the shore and He was teaching the multitude with patience and love and helped everybody.
Suddenly, a man named Jairus hurried to Him and he penetrated through the lines and fell down on his knees at Jesus feet. Many people from the multitude knew the man. He was well known and in a great position. He was a ruler of a group. Jairus cried witha loud voice saying, "My daughter is dying and she is only twelve years old. Please come quickly to my house and put Your hands on her. I am sure she will be healed. So, Jesus arose at once and followed Jairus and the disciples and so many others followed them. It was so crowded and they all were excited to see what will happen. But suddenly Jesus stopped and asked, "Who touched me? "There was no answer they were crowded. So, Peter said, “O Master the multitudes surround You and You say who touched me?
But Jesus said, “Somebody touched me for I perceived power going out from me.” There was complete silence and a woman approached quietly and fell down before Jesus feet and she was trembling when she started talking. She said to Him, “O My Lord I spent long years in sickness and suffering and I had bleeding continuously. I went to many doctors having hopesto receive healing from them and I spent all my money. I am still sick, but everyday I become worse because of the blood flow. I heard amazing things about You Jesus, The Great Healer. So, I came to youand while I was walking to You among the multitude I got an idea: Oh what if I were able to touch the border of His garment I would be healed from my disease...”
“...so, I approached you Jesus. I touched the border ofyour garment and at once I felt that I was healed and the flow of blood stopped. Thank You, God.
So, Jesus bent with great kindness to the woman falling at His feet and said with a voice full of kindness, "Your faith had made you well, go in peace." After that, Jesus went to Jairus house and raises his daughter from death.
