49 - Working Together
Objective:
Teach the children to work together and share
Introduction:
Ask some questions like: if we want to move this table and one tries, then two then three how much easier it gets to move it? Similarly, passing a ball, reach something high, making a circle, keeping a balloon in the air? The children will try those things to experience how much fun and useful is working together
Lesson Outline:
Read books:
1- Hit the Ball Duck, by Jez Albourough.. Shows the kids how working together helped the animals reach the high tree
2- Jungle Bullies by Steven Kroll. Shows the kids that even if you are big and strong, and have lots of things that are all yours, you still need to share, work and play with your friends.
Jesus chose twelve disciples to work with him and he chose others and sent them to teach the whole world about him. Jesus wants to teach us to work together and that when we are together we can get a lot more done.
