Objectives
General: Reading the Holy Bible.
Specific:
The children will be able to
A. understand it is important for us to read regularly in the Bible.
B. learn that Jesus wants us to understand the Holy Scriptures and apply them to our live
correctly.
C. have spiritual guidance to make sure that they follow the Bible teaching.

Teaching Aids
Felt figure and flannel board.
Instruction
(1) Review last week's lesson.
(2) Who remembers the verse?
(3) Remind the children about the church occasions for the coming week.
(4) Teacher should prepare the appropriate questions to emphasize the objectives during the
lesson.
Story Time
The Servant seesthat each pupil has a copy of the Gospel of St. Mark. The Servant reads a part
and thenasksthe pupils to read. He Explain everyverse and ask questions at the end ofthe reading. Here
are some suggested questions:
1) With whom was Jesus speaking?
2) Did those people love Jesus?
3) What does the statement "unclean hands" mean?
4) Mention the things that the scribes and Pharisees strictly kept.
5) Why did the scribes and Pharisees hate Jesus?
6) Complete the following verse: Honour...
7) Let us say together: And if any man have ... What does this verse mean?
8) What should you do if you sin?
9) Who reads the Absolution for you?
10) Who received communion last week? The Servant encourages the pupils.
11) What did the Jews do with Christ then?

13) Do you know that if you commit a sin, you put a new thorn on the head of Christ?
14) Do you love the Lord Jesus with all your heart?
