Lesson No. ( 26 ) The Lost Sheep

References

Luke 15.

Notes for Servants

«         What is more beautiful for us than to be as one flock, for one shepherd, who is Jesus Christ.

«         Most of the time we have a desire in our heart for sin, but Jesus prepared for us all the ways of life for us; grace, blessings and love.

«         God, I thank you for choosing me as a shepherd for your little angels, please do not hold your grace from them because of my sins and let me have their blessings and their prayers for my sake, Amen.

Story Time

Once upon a time, there was a big crowd gathered to listen to Jesus.  Jesus told people many stories about how much God love them and care for them.  Now we are going to hear one of those stories.

A shepherd had one hundred sheep.  Some were big and some were little.  One little sheep was named Snowflake.  The shepherd took good care of his sheep.  He looked for green grass and cold water for them.

Every night, when the shepherd went home, he counts his sheep to make sure that they are all there and puts them into their home.  One day Snowflake went too far away from the shepherd and was lost.  The shepherd took the sheep back home.  He counted ninety nine sheep only.  One is lost!

The shepherd called Snowflake, Snowflake did not come.  Snowflake was lost.

The shepherd went to look for Snowflake.  He searched through the night until he heard a sheep crying, “Baa, baa.”  The shepherd followed the sound and found Snowflake.

The shepherd picked Snowflake up in his arms and carried him all the way to his home.  The shepherd was very happy that he had found his little lost sheep.
