Notes for Servants
« The angels are always praising and glorifying God. We wish we could do the same thing. We should not only wish to see them, but also to be like them. One of the saints said, "Whoever sees his sins before him all the time is a lot better than he who see angels."
« God loves us all very much and He wants us to be saved. That is why He gave us His body and His blood and He did not give it to the angels. Intercede on our behalf, O Archangel Michael, that God may forgive us our sins.

Story Time
There was a man and his wife who used to help the poor and make a large supper for them on every feast for the Archangel Michael. They did this every year. It so happened that one year, they did not have any money or food to prepare supper for the poor, and they were very sad.
They decided to sell their clothes and use the money to prepare for the supper. The angel appeared to the man and asked him to go and buy a lamb, a fish and some bread and pay part of the price. He went and did what the angel told him.
The man's wife cooked the food for the feast and their house was full of poor people who came to eat. However, because there were so many people, the man felt there was not enough food for everyone. The angel appeared to him again and asked him to go in the kitchen and serve the poor people. He went to the kitchen praying. He opened the kitchen, and found a big surprise ... a large amount of food for him and all his guests. Everyone ate and were very happy. They all thanked God for His care.
The Angel appeared to him a third time in very bright white clothes, and told him to open the mouth of the fish. Inside the fish the man found a large amount of money. He paid for all the food he owed money for and he bought new clothes for his wife and himself and gave some of the money to the church.
