Story Time

The Bible told us about one of the disciples whose name was Peter.  He loved Jesus very much and he was telling people every thing about Jesus.  There was a very bad king, who did not like Peter, so he tied his hands and his feet and put him in prison.  He closed the big door and he put strong guards at the door, so he could not escape.

Peter was not afraid because he knew that God loves him and cares about him.  Before he went to sleep he prayed and remembered the verse saying, "For mine Angel shall go before thee,"  and Peter went to sleep.

Peter's friends and all the church gathered together and prayed all night for God to save him and bring him back .

Suddenly, in the prison, a very bright heavenly light shown ... God sent his Angel (servant give a description of the angel). The angel had come to free Peter. Peter was asleep, the angel woke Peter up ... Peter opened his eyes and saw the angel in front of him, he could not believe his eyes ... was this a real angel?  The angel told him, "Let's go fast," ... Peters hands and feet became free.

The Angel told Peter to follow him. Peter obeyed the angel full of surprise.  He followed the angel and when they came to the big door, the angel opened it for him ... then the angel left.

Peter went back to his friends and they were very happy, and they knew that God loves them all and cares about them.
