« In the times of problems and suffering, we should always remember that God allow it for our testimony. We should not lose faith, but we should remember that God allows provide way out.

Introduction
(1) Review last week's lesson.
(2) Remind the children about the church occasions for the coming week.
(3) Emphasise how helpful angels are and how they prevented Balaam form going to the king.
Story Time
The Israelites in their way from Egypt to the land which God promised them they passed by the land was called Moab. Balaam was a good man who lived there and knew the true God.
The King of Moab and all people were afraid of the Israelites. They wanted them to stay away from their land. The king knew that Balaam is able to bless and curse and God listen to him. The king send group of the people to Balaam to come and curse the Israelites so they might be defeated and leave Moab.
Balaam told them to stay overnight and he will give them the answer from God. God talked to Balaam and told him to not go and do not curse the Israelites because the are blessed people. In the morning Balaam told them go back to the king and tell him that the Lord refuse to let me go with you.
The king did not give up. He send to him one more time more people and told him that the king will give anything you want. Balaam told them nothing can make me disobey my Lord. But you may stay here tonight and will see what the Lord will tell me.
In the morning rode his donkey and went with them. God was angry and send his angel to stop him. The donkey saw the angel and refuse to go the way Balaam wanted. Three times Balaam hit the donkey.
God gave the donkey voice and the donkey asked Balaam why he hit him. Did I ever disobeyed you before. Balaam said “no”. Then God opened Balaam’s eyes to see the angel who blocked the donkey’s way
Discussion
1- Follow up the story by talking about it with the children.
2- Continue the discussion while they do the activity.
3- Train the children to pray before sleep, so they may have sweet dreams.
