Story Time

Once upon a time, there were two good friends, one named John and the other George. A few days before Easter they spend some time together discussing how they would celebrate the feast. They agreed that George will pass by John and go together to church to attend the holy mass. On Easter eve, George went to John's house to pick him up. On their way to the church, George started to tell his friend about the food his mother prepared for the feast and about the cake she made for them. Then he asked John :

George: Did your mother make a cake for Easter?

John: No.

George: Why?

John: Because we are poor, we can not afford to make a cake.

George: Did you buy new clothes?

John: No .. I’ll wear my old clothes.

George felt so bad about his friend, and he was thinking about him all through the mass. He was praying hard for him. When he went back home, he told his parents about John's family. George suggested giving half of their cake to John, his mother said it is a good idea but even better if we made a whole cake for him. Then George asked his father's for permission to give John some of his new clothes, his father was very happy and agreed with him.

easter day, George woke up very early and wraps the new clothes and took the cake and went to John's home :

George : Good morning John and Happy Easter.

John : Same to you.

George : I brought a nice gift for you.

John : What is it ?

George : Open it.

John opened the present. He was very happy to get new clothes and all his family enjoyed the cake. George and John spent a good time together. When George went home his parents asked him about his day, George said this was the best day in his life. He was so glad because he could make his friend happy.
