Notes for Servants
God does not perform a miracle unless it is necessary, and for the benefit of the believers.
The Jews asked Him once to perform a miracle, but He did not answer them, because they wanted to test Him only.
The miracle of raising the dead is to prove to people His power and authority over death.

Story Time
One day while Jesus was teaching, Jairus, a ruler of a synagogue, fell at Jesus' feet. He begged Jesus to come to his house because his only daughter, a girl of about 12, was dying.
As Jesus was on His, way the crowds began to gather around Him. And a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years came up and touched Jesus' cloak. Immediately her bleeding stopped.
when Jesus asked who touched Him, the woman fell at His feet, trembling. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched Jesus and how she had been instantly healed.
Jesus said to her, "Your faith has healed you. Go in peace."
While Jesus was still speaking, a man came from Jairus' house and said to him, "Your daughter is dead. Don't bother the teacher anymore.
But Jesus said to Jairus, "Don't be afraid, just believe, and she will be healed."
When they came to the house, they found it filled with people. Women were crying and weeping, and men were playing funeral music. Jesus said to them, "Stop wailing; she is not dead but asleep."
The people thought it was foolish to say the girl was asleep. They knew she was dead. So they laughed at Jesus. Jesus told them all to leave the house.
He went with the father and the mother and Peter, James, and John into the room where their dead daughter lay, He took her by the hand and said, "My child, get up!"
At once the girl got up. Jesus had made the girl alive again. Her parents were astonished.
