Lesson No. ( 26 )
The Healing of a Nobleman’s Son
References
John 4:46-53.
Notes for Servants
If we have faith in Christ we would not get disturbed when we get sick because he is the Good Shepherd of our lives.
What is more wonderful than asking for God's help in time of illness rather than asking for man's help? If God does not want me to live, what is life to me?

Story Time
At the time of Jesus, there was a nobleman who was a very good person. He was obedient, and gentle and was loved by all his friends and neighbors. He had a little beautiful son whom he loved from all his heart. The little boy was very nice and like his father, he smiled all the time. He always listens to his father and mother.
One day, he became very sick. He could not walk or play because he had to stay in bed. The medicine did not help him. He started getting worse day after day. The nobleman was very sad about his son. Some of his friends told him to go to Jesus and He will heal him.
( Let the children imagine the atmosphere in any house where there is a sick person.)
The nobleman rode his horse and went to Jesus and asked him, "Please Lord, help me. My son is dying!" Jesus told him, "Go back to your house and your son will live."
(Show the faith of the nobleman and how he trusted Jesus when he told him his son will be healed.)
It was 3 o'clock in the afternoon and the nobleman believed Jesus. So, he went on his way home as fast as he could to see his son. What a big surprise! He found his family and friends there waiting for him on the street to tell him that his son was healed. He asked them what was the time when he was healed, and they told him it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon. That was the same time Jesus told him that his son would be healed.
The nobleman was very happy. He hugged his son and thanked God for what he had done for him.
